Our team is made up of professionally trained food and nutrition specialists such Registered Dietitians, Professional Home Economists, Professional Culinary Experts and Professional Chefs. We also rely on Researchers affiliated with universities, research centres, government bodies, not-for-profit organizations and the food industry that strive to find real solutions for real people.


Claire 2012

CLAIRE C CRONIER, MBA, MSc, RD   EDITOR-IN-CHIEF and FOUNDER—Originally from Ottawa, and now a resident of Toronto, Claire’s diverse experience in food and health spans across various organizations in several sectors including public health, academia (University of Moncton, University of Ottawa), government (Agriculture Canada) and the food industry as a nutrition practitioner, consultant, technical advisor, professor, director of communications and executive director. Her professional career also brought her to West Africa and Latin America as a Consultant on various nutrition related projects.

Recently, Claire completed an MBA from the Telfer School of Management after 25 years in practice as a Registered Dietitian and was selected to join the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honour Society. Claire obtained her MSc (nutrition) from l’Université Laval and her BSc (dietetics) from the University of Ottawa.

Making sure that health and nutrition messages are evidence-based and tailored to meet unique consumer needs and circumstances are important to Claire.

Her focus now–Helping consumers explore and discover innovative solutions to meet their need for health and well-being. So along with her team, she scans the world to uncover innovative products in the marketplace—local and global. Claire is also the Editor-in-Chief for nufoods international.


SONY DSCMARZIEH KADKHODA, HONOURS BSc   Client Relations—A graduate in Nutritional Sciences and Human biology from the University of Toronto, Marzieh’s approach and enthusiasm for new foods and health is contagious. Her analytical skills and her ability to communicate scientific information clearly to a variety of audiences, makes her a valuable member of our team. Marzieh understands the value of relevant innovation as a means to help consumers meet their health objectives. Originally from Iran, she is also sensitive to the cultural influence on the choices people make.

SANDHYA MYLABATHULA, HONOURS BScSandhya   Researcher and WriteSandhya is currently a MSc student in Exercise Sciences at the U of Toronto.  She completed an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences. She has been recognized as one of the most influential Torontonians of 2011 (GridTO) for her contributions in the health field, and as an Urban Hero in the category of Health & Sciences (Etobicoke Guardian) for her work on concussions. Sandhya enjoys her work as a researcher with nuFoods International and is excited to help consumers make better, more informed nutrition choices!

SwapnaSWAPNA  MYLABATHULA, HONOURS BSc   Researcher and Writer—Swapna is a graduate student at the U of Toronto, also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Human Biology and Nutritional Sciences. She is very interested in a wide range of research issues related to food and health, and community involvement. Recognized as one of the most influential Torontonians of 2011 (GridTO) and as a 2012 Urban Hero (Etobicoke Guardian). Swapna is excited to be a researcher with nuFoods International by providing information to help consumers achieve their nutritional and overall health goals.

susanphotoSUSAN CAMPISI, MHSc   Reseacher and Writer, Media RelationsWith nearly 20 years of experience as a health and food professional, Susan consistently looks for creative ways to apply knowledge and skills–for various audiences including: public, media, corporate and professionals. Susan has held various positions in marketing, regulatory affairs and private practice. She also worked on projects for the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Susan holds a MHSc and Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the U of Toronto. She was also awarded a fellowship to study epidemiology at the University of Siena, Italy.
NUFOODS INTERNATIONAL works with several Associates including Registered Dietitians, Professional Home Economists and Professional Chefs. Our professionals are extremely knowledgeable on a wide variety of food and nutrition topics and are looking forward to sharing with you their experience and skills on several innovation fronts.
